Just updated my little vpn script that adds a more elegant command-line interface to AzireVPN’s WireGuard service on Linux.
first alpha release of #briar desktop:
😻 yeah!!! 👏 I haven't tested it, but I was already waiting for it.
👉 the developer is looking for a #debian package maintainer. so a boost might help to find that person?
you have no idea what #birar is?
"#Briar is a messaging app designed for activists, journalists, and anyone else who needs a safe, easy and robust way to communicate.
Unlike traditional messaging apps, Briar doesn’t rely on a central server - messages are synchronized directly between the users’ devices.
If the internet’s down, Briar can sync via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, keeping the information flowing in a crisis.
If the internet’s up, Briar can sync via the Tor network, protecting users and their relationships from surveillance."

What is this curve we're trying to flatten? The only curve I see is from an exponential increase in the number of tests!

PayPal & p2p money
Aaaand PayPal has blocked our business account again. Every few years they come up with some new BS, basically freezing our money in place.

Then again, I assume most of the haters are trying to fight off the cognitive dissonance stemming from most of the left being on the wrong side of history in this regard (the side of banks and authoritarian govs).

EU researchers are concerned and confused after their proposal for a decentralized contact tracing system was rejected without explanation.
@angristan Seems pretty biased, e.g.
"The camera kill switch is no better than some tape." - tape is 100% effective.
"Distros like PureOS are not secure at all. They're mostly a reskinned Debian." - Debian is extremely secure.
